The past three months have been the absolute worst months of my moms life. Her life turned upside down in February of this year when I (her twenty-seven year old daughter) went to Florida for a school conference. On the second day, I awoke to find myself very ill and my eyesight severely distorted. My friends rushed me to the emergency room and then called my mom back in Illinois, who immediately jumped on a plane. I ended up spending ten days in the hospital, during which my mom never left my side. As I was too ill to take care of myself, she had to feed me, comb my hair, and essentially take care of me twenty-four hours a day. My mom was there to hold my hand when I was finally diagnosed with a rare condition that has affected only a few people in the countryessentially, a virus had permanently destroyed pieces of my vision. My mom has experienced more stress in the past months than I can describe, yet she stillmanaged to be strong for me during this difficult time. Id love to win a wallhog for her for Mothers Day!

Being a 50 year old Mom now has me wishing I knew what I know now to raise my children better in the past. Weve three children 15, 19, 20 year old. They really arent children to some but I guess theyll always be my babies. Life hasnt been easy raising them and my body changes tells the story of the stresses I experienced. But nothing prepared me for the stresses of having teenagers. Theres a saying, Little children, little problem, big children, big problems. Well, they werent even close calling that one. Its more like hair falling out problems when they get older. But Ive stop pretty much worrying about something bad going to happen to them. I daily put my childrens fate in the Lords hands and remember Hes the one that gave us them in the first place. So believing that and knowing He knows how much I love my children whatever God chooses for them Ill try to believe He knows best. My Mom always tells me to have faith and she raised my six brothers and me. Shes definitely my sister I never had and the perfect Mom for me. Happy Mothers Day Mom!

Hi folks,
we are very excited about making our little girl the bike from your plans. I am just printing them off and wantig to check what scale they should be. When I print them at 100% on A4 they come out with a wheel 11.5" in diameter is this correct. In your commentary you talk about a 10" wheel?
thanks for your help-and the plans!

Santa NEVER wraps presents... he doesn't have time, not to mention how unfortunate it would be if he just happened to use the same giftwrap as mom & dad. They are ALWAYS set out and ready to go. Some small things can be left in their UNWRAPPED boxes so they stand out and don't get lost in the shuffle, but the biggies should always be assembled, batteries loaded, ready to go!
The added bonus is mom & dad get to "test" them beforehand to make sure they work right :)

I hate those twisty tie things. I hope we have fewer of those since we asked for a lot of books for Fuller.

true! and to that I would add: consider unboxing and/or assembling things beforehand. the mad rush to free incarcerated toys from their bonds can get a little crazy when toddlers are NEEDing to get a hold of the toy NOW.
