Oranges and apples
The other day when Fuller and I were visiting Esther, Fuller was chasing a ball around the room. It was one of Luke's balls and Fuller would chase it and then put it in his mouth to bring back to me. Yes, my son likes to act like the dogs.
I asked Esther if she was ok with Fuller putting Luke's toy in his mouth. Esther's response was "Sure, if you don't mind. Luke is getting over a cold."
I told her I didn't mind because Fuller had so much vitamin C in him, it had to ward off some of Luke's cooties. Fuller has been enjoying several (like 3 or 4) clementines a day. He asks for them all the time and I am happy to give them to him.
Actually Fuller really likes fruit. Apples, oranges, and nanas (aka the banana). And I am happy to give them to him because I really think it helps him health wise.
I was greatful for my mom introducing us to the yogurt smoothies, because then I think Fuller is getting more calcium, since his milk intake isn't very high.
There are lots of different fruits and veggies and I can offer Fuller, but if it is in a drinkable format, it goes over really well. Like Goji Berries, something one of my old co-workers used to drink (I think her mom sold it). It can help him boost his immune system (stay away colds!).
I might look into Goji Berry Juice to see if it helps fight off morning sickness, like they claim (not that I need to worry about that yet).
But, regardless of his diet, Fuller is growing and so healthy right now. And I'm happy to give him as many clementines as he wants.
Goji berries really has a lot of health benefits. This fruit is not only known to contain substances that enhance the immune system but it also helps provide extra energy for the body. It really is an amazing fruit that is why I am fond of it.
