Snow Day, redux
Yesterday it was as if we lived in a snowglobe. We enjoyed staying warm in the house and preparing for the New Year's Day dinner. Outside the flakes fell and the leaf-covered snow of New Year's day turned into snow-covered leaves. (My parents are letting their leaves mulch for their spring project of overhauling the backyard.)
When Fuller woke up this morning he asked, "Did it snow again?" We went to the window and were delighted to see a white blanket covering the yard, trees, cars, and rooftops.
We all suited up into multiple layers with coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. Fuller immediately went outside to destroy snow drifts and make snow angels. We pulled him on the bilibo and took some more pictures. He helped with the shoveling and took a walk on the grounds of the seminary across the street. And he was extremely disappointed the snow was not snowman or snowball quality, even though he he attempted to pack snow into his gloved hands and throw it numerous times.
I'm just thrilled Fuller got to play in snow before we go back to Chattanooga (where I am told it snowed this morning). I just hope he remembers it. If not, we have plenty of pictures.
