I'm in trouble

When I put Fuller down for the evening it was with the promise that tomorrow his friend Luke would be coming to play. And later I got an email from Esther that Luke is ill and we will have to cancel the playdate.

I feel badly for Luke (and Esther!) but I am really feeling badly for Fuller. He will wake up tomorrow and ask when we can see Luke and I will have to break the bad news to him.

Fuller is starting to remember so much. He knows we are going to Ohio some time in the future and asks at least once a day if we are going to "Hi-o?" We had to resort to a calendar with Xs to cross off the days, but it isn't really sinking in.

Damon suggested that just like we give Fuller time outs based on his age (3 minutes) we should tell him about upcoming events in the same way (3 minutes before we leave).

I'm not looking foward to Monday.
