Family time

shadow_family.jpg

Our first Sunday of Advent was a little adventure in parenting.

Since our church doesn't have Little Lambs during the advent season and Fuller is too old to go to nursery, he was in the service for the entire length. And surprisingly, he was very good. There was one outburst during Cal's prologue to the Lord's Supper, but other than that, on the way home we heaped praise onto Fuller for how good he was.

Recently we seem to have found ways to carve out more family time in unexpected ways. We had lunch with Damon at Greenlife, we got to tour the new expansion of the church building, and we just seem to stop and enjoy each other more lately, instead of mingling around the house in our own bubbles.

It's times like these I wish we could freeze. I guess I have to blog it instead.
