UT band in Miller Park

Family pictureFriday afternoon our little family met downtown to see a performance of the Pride of the Southland Band, aka the UT Vols Marching Band.

The band stops in Chattanooga when they are on their way to Alabama or Georgia. We had a good time listening to the band, seeing the kids play with Smokey, and watching the twirlers do their thing. Oh, and I got some really great pictures.

As you can see in the video acompanying this story, our family got on the evening news in a few of the crowd shots (which we always love). Fuller liked dancing (better than any exercise equipment) and singing "Rocky Top", which I have been teaching him by playing it in the car on my mixed CD.

I enjoy this tradition in our city and look forward to it next year, when UT is on their way to play Auburn.
