Short week

This Thursday Fuller and I are packing up and heading down to Auburn to visit with my grandmother for a bit. Then Friday afternoon my inlaws will pick us up and take us to spend the rest of the weekend at the lake.

Since we are leaving on Thursday, I feel as though I have a three day work week and a lot to complete in just the three days.

But, in all the busyness, Fuller just goes with the flow.

His birthday is Friday, so we are trying to prepare him for all the upcoming stuff. We told him we would be visiting Grandma Great! And Albert! And Nick! You will be three! And we will see Linda! Vicki! Vivian! Olivia! And... the list goes on.

It is testament to his maturity that he now remembers the upcoming events in the waking hours of the day. Obviously stuff we told him on Sunday is sticking because the first words out of his mouth on Monday were, "We go Albert? We go Great? We go lake? Please?"

So now we work on the days of the week. Then he can learn the art of the countdown. The anticipation can be as exciting as actually packing and going.
