Thoughts on furniture

I think that my enthusiasm for a bedroom remodeled has waned a little bit... I did throw out a bunch of stuff, but because someone else hasn't shown the same enthusiasm as me (ahem) I kind of fizzled a little bit.

Damon brought up a good point; most of our home projects are based around the availability of money and good deals. And good deals usually come in the form of Home Depot or Lowe's coupons that we get from the Hamilton County School Coupon books. (We love those things.) Since we are all out of coupons, we seem to be stalling until we have some in our hands.

But, that doesn't mean I can't dream, right? I have color schemes in my head, furniture arrangements to decide on, and a closet/ vanity layout that needs to be drawn out so Damon understands what I want.

I've been looking around online and one site was brought to my attention: Wholesale Furniture Brokers. First, I must say that I am really impressed with the variety of furniture that they have available. Since we are moving toward doing the bedroom next, I was drawn to looking at the bedroom furniture. We don't need a new bed (we got a new one three years ago), but I know when we move, we will get a bigger bed.

Their prices include whole sets (bed, dresser, nightstands) or just a bed. And they are gorgeous beds. I've been drooling over the platform beds. And the prices are very affordable. You can remove pieces from the sets, if you want to, so that is a bonus when looking at the furniture.

They have a great offering of leather recliners, which I know will someday be in my home. Especially if they look like the one to the left and are priced that well.

The dining room furniture cover everything from formal dining to square table to bar sets. I have set my eyes on some beautiful sideboards, to keep in mind for our dream home.

For an online furniture store, they have lots of variety and their FAQs state they are getting new inventory all the time. Ordering looks easy, but they have operators available to help you via online chat or by phone. Shipping is reasonable as well, especially if you are getting a whole bedroom set made of hardwood.

As the internet gets bigger and the online stores gain more popularity, Wholesale Furniture Brokers stands out as one that will be valuable to me when we make the next furniture purchase (which I hope is sooner, rather than later).
