Lazy days

We have had a rather lazy week (except for a very busy Monday that just turned out that way). So today I took Fuller to see the Choo-Choo.

The month of August is nicely empty of schedules and "to-dos." Mom's group is on hiatus while families get their lives organized after the lazy days of summer. The movies at Hamilton Place are done. And my friend Esther has gone back to work for the school year (Walker County Schools starts today!).

I've been a bit selfish with my time lately, wanting to be a bit more alone or just hibernate in my house. When my friend Esther came over on Monday, I was glad for the company, but even more glad that I didn't have to leave the house for it. I don't know why, but I just want to be for a little while. And it looks like August is going to let me do that... unless we sign up for Kindermusik again.

That sounds so nice- to not have to go anywhere- to be alone at home. So all I need then is a house and someone to take all my kids somewhere. Hmmm Tall Order.
