Dell Laptop for $499

I saw over on Lynn Terry's blog that today Dell is selling laptops for $499. That sounds pretty good to me, too bad I already have one. But I know some folks recently who said that they want one (Dad? Albert?). It is one day only, and that day would be today.

I guess with back to school only a few weeks away, the electronic companies are going to be putting everything from laptops to viewsonic monitors to Texas Instrument calculators on sale. The Best Buy and Circuit City circulars are going to be fun to look at for the next month or so.
