Schlepping has its rewards

My day included schlepping from store to store looking for shoes to wear to the wedding this weekend. Both Fuller and I needed shoes, but I would have preferred to do the shopping by myself. We covered a lot of real estate this afternoon- Kohl's, Goody's, Target, The Avenue, and finally Wal-Mart.

I got my shoes at The Avenue (Cloudwalkers!) and Fuller got his at Wal-Mart. I was a bit peeved at the lack of "dress" shoes for kids his size. Sneakers with Thomas the Tank Engine and Spider-Man are all over the place. But plain black lace-ups? Only at Wal-Mart apparently.

Oh wait, not just Wal-Mart. They did have some in Target, but none in his size. So frustrating.

The shoe thing was really bothering me. And knowing that I would have to take Fuller didn't help either. I spent some time online today, seeing if I could order some and have them shipped to my parent's, but I have had bad online shoe experience in the past and wanted to try shoes on.

Now that I have some cute black slides all ready for Saturday. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can now concentrate on the rest of life.
