Oh-io

I think I forgot to mention that my sister lives in a college dorm. She is a campus minister with a job perk of living in an apartment in the freshman dorm.

We arrived yesterday and went straight to a tennis game where one of her students played. Fuller was more interested in picking dandelions and running free from the car seat.

Then Austina segued us into the Parade of Fuller, where the star was Fuller and I was relegated to extra status. Fuller was treated to many smiles and hugs by Austina's co-workers. He even got chocolate from Tina. Fuller cooperated with "Hi!" and "Bye!" on command. It was sweet.

As part of seeing Austina in her environment, we went to her small group. There were other kids there, which meant toys, including the ride-on kind. Fuller commandered a riding firetruck immediately. He was quite rude that way.

Fuller never napped, snoozed, or dozed on the car ride to Ohio. So by the time we got back to her apartment, he was dead tired. He did eat a PBJ sandwich, drank some "muk," and then gladly went to bed on the floor of "Nina's" bedroom. Around 4:30 am he ended up in bed with me, pushing his feet into my stomach. Then he turned around and pushed his head into my side.

He is quite ready to go now, since he has been promised a trip to the Zoo. If we all cross our fingers and think happy thoughts, we might get to meet Jack Hanna (Austina has connections).

So far Ohio (what Fuller calls "High-o") is pretty good. Tomorrow we head to Dayton to visit Esau (and my mom).
