Heading North
I'm supposed to be packing right now, but I had to check my email to see if someone had sent me something. I am sitting on the floor surrounded by piles of laundry that I haven't put away. Folded? Yes. But not put away.
Yesterday I was wondering what I had gotten myself into with this trip. It was gorgeous, though very windy, and Fuller and I got to take a walk over to the park for an hour or so. Today we drive North to colder temperatures. At least it won't be snowing. I don't think I could handle snow in April. I feel badly that some people are having to do that, but I don't think I could. (This is why many people travel South in the winter and spring. To get warmer, not colder.)
This is where I confess that I haven't completely swapped out our clothes from the winter wear to the spring/ summer wear. I have been living in this mixed media of clothing for a few months because I just know that the crazy side of Mother Nature is always ready to pounce as soon as I do that. This year, I just got lazy and Mother Nature still did her thing.
So, off to pack long pants and footie pjs for Fuller, making sure we have a sweatshirt or two.
See you in Ohio.
