Self Portrait Sunday: A shadow of myself

I keep getting comments from various people that I seem much happier. My attitude, my writing, and whatever else... I just seem happier.

And I am. I am happy. I can't deny it. I am in a place that I have always wanted to be. Our family is more together and I am slowly moving to a place in the hierarchy of organization that gives us an outside look of "keeping it together."

Writing is great, it gives me the creative release I needed. Recent travel has helped too, since it is something that I really like to do, and I have missed.

My stress levels are different. I have stress, but it is different. Quitting my job and staying home has really been life affirming. And I love my bosses. They are awesome.

I'm a shadow of myself, the self that you saw last November or January. I am a new me, and it is great.
