It's a kind of magic

It has been a magical day. Fuller and I went to kindermusik and then we headed out to hang with Esther. We all had to go shopping, so Ben stayed home with his Daddy, and we went and picked up Heather and Jonas. Then we three moms took our three little boys shopping. We had our shopping synergy and parenting skillz all in sync.

It was fun. Jonas is only two months and he prefers to be held, so one mom would hold him and the other moms would push the carts. It didn't matter who was with what kid, they were all cared for and we were shopping at the same time.

Holding Jonas and getting him to fall asleep during the shopping trip, it got my baby urge moving again. He and Ben (who is now 5 weeks old) are so little and precious. Their little feet and their little clothes and their little faces, it just sends pangs straight to my ovaries.

When we were at Wal-Mart, we bought a gift for my new niece Olivia, and passed all the cute little girl stuff. The shoes that look lik shooshoos soft leather baby shoes made me long for when Fuller was little and just wore his soft shoes and not the hard Nikes from the thrift store.

How cute are they? Luke now wears Fuller's soft sole shoes, since his tiny feet need protecting. And when Jonas gets older, he can wear them. And when Ben is ready for shoes, he can wear them. It is one of the fun things about having such great friends who are having babies at the same time.

And now, I am here, at Esther's, hanging out swapping mom stories and enjoying each other. Luke, Fuller, and Jonas are all napping and Ben is being held by Heather. It really is magical.
