I have a new alarm clock

When I would have to get up to go to an actual office every Monday through Friday, my alarm would beep loudly sometime around 5:30 am and 6 am. Sometimes it would go off in nine minute increments because I would use that snooze button pretty liberally.

That alarm clock was loud, annoying, and it would give me a heart attack almost every morning it went off.

Now that I am dabbling in the fine arts of stay at home motherdom, I have a new alarm clock.

Every morning, Sunday through Saturday, sometime between 6:30 am and 7 am the baby monitor moves into the red zone and I hear, "Mommy, where ARE you?" "Mommy? Where are you, Mommy? Mommy? Mommy!"

This alarm clock has no snooze button. This alarm clock doesn't even have an off button, because sometimes when I disappear into another room, the alarm clock will shout, "Mommy, where ARE you?" I don't think it is malfunctioning, I think it is making sure that I am not sleeping on the job.

This is an alarm clock that I am enjoying so very much, even if I have to wipe its nose every 30 minutes.

I came here looking for alarm clock info, though not found, I enjoyed the trip here.

I have the same kind of alarm clock sleeping with me and each morning she will jump on my body to wake me up. I hope she will be deactivated in a year, as she is 10 months old now. My older boy stopped bugging when he was about two years old.
