Starry Night or Sunflowers

Fuller is napping, Damon is napping, and I am sitting in my pretty living room. I'm so excited that we got this room done. All it is missing is the appropriate furniture and some more interesting things on the walls, but that will take us a while to agree on.

This past Saturday I went to a ladies brunch at a friend's house. She has some amazing art work on her walls. Someone asked her where it came from and she said that they bought them from a street artist in New York City. They just bought the canvases, brought them home and had them stretched. Apparently that way they were a lot cheaper.

When I was in college I had a poster of Van Gogh's Starry Night. I even had a coffee mug with Starry Night on it, but it disappeared one summer from storage.

If I wanted to I could get a Starry Night Reproduction to hang on our walls. I don't see a trip to New York in my future, but the internet is always here and it is possible to find reproductions at decent prices. But I doubt I would get Starry Night again, at least not for this house. Our living room screams Sunflowers.
