Family Fun Day: Happy Feet

I took off from work today to go to two doctor's appointments and then spend the rest of the day with my family. We decided yesterday to try and take Fuller to the movies... after narrowing down the choices we went with Happy Feet.

I loved the movie. I like it when stuff makes me want to dance or sing, so the movie was a great fit. And there were some really funny lines.

Damon enjoyed it as well, but I have a suspicion that I liked it a lot more than him.

Fuller was ok with the movie. He loves music, so that kept his interest but got a little bored about half way into it. There were two other people in the theater so we still felt the need to "shush" him and keep him in his seat. However we eventually gave in and let him roam the aisle. At one point he lost a shoe and we had a little trouble finding it in the dark.

At the very end there is a big dance number and that seemed to get Fuller back into the fun. He clapped his hands to the beat and smiled big.

We left the theater feeling like we all had fun and spent some time together. And Fuller fell asleep on the way home.

It's been a good day off.
