Deck the halls and charge the batteries, clear the memory cards and shoot at will
It has been a long day and I have not had a nap yet. I guess I missed my chance.
I think we are ready for the fun to start tomorrow... We have church in the morning and then Linda's side of the family will arrive in the evening for the annual Christmas Eve get together. This is the first year that Albert & Linda have hosted the party here at the lake house, so we are all excited.
Monday will be the opening of presents and then a grand lunch with Albert's side of the family over at Damon's Aunt Frankie's house. Frankie also lives on Lake Martin, having moved here this past summer. Her house is much larger than Damon's grandmother's, which is where we have gathered in the past.
We were here last year for Christmas and this was supposed to be our year to stay home, but because all the traditional get togethers are here on the lake, Damon wanted to be here for this momentous occasion.
Anyway, I am prepared to capture all the memories on our new camera. And in preparation I was reading this article of 16 digital photography tips for Christmas by Problogger, Darren Rowse. I was happy to see that I have taken into account several of the tips already and hope that we have better pictures than in years past. Also, I found the 6th tip interesting and wonder if I could do that same with my inlaws' web camera. We could time lapse opening presents or something.
We plan on sharing our pictures via Flickr, so watch out in the next few days... it will seem like you are here too!
thanx for the reminder. I nearly forgot to charge my camera batteries this morning!!
Have a great Christmas Eve :D LOVE YA
