Netflix/ Co-op/ Library/ "Can I borrow a cup of sugar" mash up

I haven't been to the local library in quite some time. I just don't seem to have the time. But that is ok, I think.

Over on Kristen's blog I learned about PaperBackSwap, where you put your books online, and when someone requests them, you mail them out. In return you can request books and have them mailed to you. All you pay is the media mail rate.

Turns out there are other sites that do that as well. According to the titletrader site, it is pretty much the same concept, but they have other media as well... CDs, DVDs, Video Games, and more. It sounds pretty much like a Netflix/ Co-op/ Library/ "Can I borrow a cup of sugar" mash up.

And again, all you pay is the media mail postage rate. Titletrader provides the mailing label. And since I can mail things from work, it is more convenient than me than finding time to head to the library.
