One man's trash is another man's treasure

Recently our family has come into some treasures that others have given us and we are really enjoying them.

Our patio furniture. My in laws have an abundance of outdoor furniture for their rather large lake house. Most of this furniture gets used around the big holidays, but most of the time it is just the two of them hanging around, not sitting in the other 10 or so chairs overlooking the beautiful scenery.

When we created our patio area, we needed to replace our broken resin adirondack chairs. So we decided to see if any of the furniture at the lake could migrate north for a change of scenery. I was hoping for a few chairs. My in laws really came through with an awesome donation. Not only did we get some chairs, we got a table too! We have had lunch and dinner outside on the patio and enjoyed many roasted marshmallows while relaxing around the firepit in the evenings.

Our new (to us) grill. Our friend Greg got an awesome Father's Day present- a new grill. Instead of letting him put his old grill on the side of the road, we asked if we could have it. Damon recently purchased a new tank and replaced the burners. Now we have a great working grill for hamburgers, chicken, and whatever else Damon decides to grill. Les onions sauté anyone?

Ketchup flavored potato chips. Ok, this one isn't really a treasure to me. Or to Damon. Or to Austina who bought them. But she left them here and Fuller loves them. Bright red dried ketchup dust is all over every inch of his face, his hands, and his shirt. To Fuller ketchup flavored potato chips are better than hamburgers, even when they are grilled on a new (to us) grill and eaten outside on our wonderful patio.
