New Patio Area - in progress
Today, we received a Lowes coupon in the mail. We're on their mailing list, so every once-in-a-while we get a sweet $10 off of $50 coupon in the mail. We forgot about our last one until after it expired - we were so bummed.
Well, I wasn't going to let that happen this time, so Fuller and I immediately went to Lowes and bought $50.74 worth of 12" concrete pavers. After the discount and plus tax, we got 43 pavers for $43.25. That's just over a dollar a paver!
Once we got home, Fuller took a nap while I raked away a portion of the gravel area by our back door and started setting the pavers. By the time Alli got home, I had them all in place.

We plan to get about 60 more pavers to really make this into a sweet patio area. We're also going to get one of those firepits that's all the rage these days, so if anyone has any recommendations for firepit features, please pass them along. But keep in mind that I'm kinda cheap frugal, and I'm only looking to spend about $100 on a firepit.
This looks way cool. Your patio says so great many things about your family and your neighborhood. More people need to live part of their lives outside the cocoon of their homes with their neighbors.
