Hairy situation

After Fuller goes to bed in the evenings, we tend to lounge around, surfing the net and watching TV. (Of course if D is working on some special project like the attic, I am the only one surfing the net and watching TV.) I like to hang out in the gold chair, put my feet up and blog hop for a few hours before going to bed.

While I am in my comfort position, the dogs like to curl up around me… Lively hangs out on the back of the chair and Maple squeezes behind the chair to snooze. This is sweet but it can be annoying. Inevitably, with the dogs hanging around, I will have to stop what I am doing to command Maple to stop scratching.

She seems to have developed a nervous habit that causes her to lick her paws continuously or scratch until she has bald spots. It doesn’t appear to be flea related because of the lack of actual fleas. Damon brushes her every once in a while and she loves that, so I think we need to get her a Shed Ender to indulge her love of the brush action.

It claims to help end shedding, so now I am wondering if I can use it too? Right now, all the hair giving substance to the dust bunnies is red and it can be pretty hard to tell if it is mine or Maple’s hair. (And no, I am not going picking through it.) I guess if we start brushing her regularly and it cuts down on her shedding, we can be pretty sure that the hair on the floor is probably mine.

Or we could just sweep more often.
