Won't you be my neighbor?

In case you are not aware, tonight is the National Night Out. Our neighborhood has participated in past years, with people sitting on their front porches or walking around the neighborhood, visiting and seeing exactly who our neighbors are.

This year our local police department donated some items to give away during the Night Out, so our neighborhood association organized a get together down in our "business district" to pass out whistles, water bottles, stickers, and child proof- gun locks.

Fuller enjoyed running around the patio with Damon chasing him, encouraging Fuller to not run in the direction of the street.

To add to the family outing, we decided to bike there and back, which is kind of uphill both ways. Fuller got very tired running around, we got very tired biking.

But, we met some neighbors, heard some good music, and spent some time outside the house. That's a good night out.
