Family Gathering

Fuller is carrying around a little American Flag. He has a buzz cut and the sweetest blue eyes. How more iconic can he get?

The 4th of July is like Christmas around here- with the decorations, the family, the food, and swimming in the lake. Oh wait, we don't swim at Christmas. But I guess we could if D threw someone in.

Anyway, today is a pretty big deal and the gathering is here with the first family members rolling in around 10. I tend to get a tad clausterphobic during these get togethers and since everyone has to get their personal Fuller Fix, it gets harder and harder to find a corner to sit in until everyone leaves.

But overall, it is ok because it is family and we don't see them that often. I can stand giving the same speech (Yes, Damon is staying home with Fuller full time, he does still work with his business but from home, and I am still at XYZ working with this that and the other oh and Damon and Fuller are doing Kindermusik this year would you like to hear Fuller sing Twinkle, Twinkle?) at least 7 if not 10 times. And then, after I greet all these family members I haven't seen since Christmas the real treat will them seeing me in a bathing suit.

Maybe I need to go stake out my corner now.
