Auburn vs. Georgia

Well, another Saturday, another football game. The game is on ESPN so we packed up the house and headed to D's office to chill out and watch the game from their conference room.

The game started out well enough, with an Auburn drive that ended in 7 points, but Georgia has since scored a touchdown and a field goal and now things are kind of tense here on the big green couch.

Fuller is asleep in the pack 'n play in the bathroom. He had fun watching the end of the LSU vs. Alabama game, but mainly he practiced walking around the room, trying to get more than 6 or 7 steps without taking a knee. This past week his walking has become much more adventurous, which makes our hearts glow with pride.

Much like the pride we have in our Auburn Tigers when they do well. Right now, not so much pride in the house. Of course, we are just in the first quarter, but D is already lecturing Brandon Cox for not throwing the ball away earlier.

I went down to Taco Mac earlier, for some take out, and the place was crawling with Georgia fans. Made me feel guilty for not wearing my Auburn shirt.

I think I need to pay a little bit more attention- Kenny Irons just ran quite a few yards and I wasn't watching.

well i'm glad to see that auburn ended up winning 31-30. i suppose it ended up being a nail biter. odu won their game yesterday, we ended the season 3-7, which is certainly better than our record from last season 0-10. it was an exciting game, we played Taylor. It was fun to be in the stands for their final game of the season and to see them win at home!

Saw the game from a sports bar in the basement of the Hilton next to the River Walk in San Antonio - not my normal digs. I was sitting with my teammates who are mostly Georgia fans, fitting since we are from Georgia. Personally I root for AU since my little bro wet there and they were not playing Alabama. I overheard the most beautiful girl (a teammate) scream to "take out a knee!" The beer was good at least. The game was real close.
