Fuller's Birthday & Invitation

Today, Fuller is 1 year old.
We're having a party this weekend, and we mailed out these nifty invitation cards. Here's a larger version.
Here's how he's spending his first Birthday:
He slept in (smart kid) until about 7:45.
I got him out of his crib and changed his dirty diaper. Then, he and I played with his mega blocks until I could tell he was hungry (about 30 minutes).
The first attempt at breakfast was some yogurt and fruit cocktail concoction that Alli made the other day. He spit it out. So, I gave him a handful of Cheerios while I scrambled an egg. He wolfed down the egg and spent the next 20 minutes watching Sesame Street while he finished his milk and Cheerios.
After breakfast (about 9:00) we adjourned to the living room and switched to the other PBS station to watch Sesame Street again. He played with his various toys, tried to climb on me while I was at the computer, and spent some time slapping his hands on the igloo cooler we have ready to return to my in-laws this weekend. Finally, (about 10:00) after overturning a basket of his clean laundry, he began to get tired. So, I took him back to his room, put him in the crib, started the CD player and the air purifier, and closed his door.
Oh blissful slumber.
We got ours yesterday. It is probably the coolest birthday invitation know to man. Great job!
Happy Birthday Fuller-Dude! You are the best and cutest first nephew a Tia could ask for!
That is amazing!

Posted by: Tiffany at October 5, 2005 10:06 AMThe time that D put into this project was a lot and I really appreciate the creativity he brings to our marriage. I just gave him the theme "Celebrate One Year" and he came up with this. Thanks Baby!
Posted by: mrscrumley at October 5, 2005 10:07 AMHappy Birthday Fuller! I liked your invitation a lot. I'm sad I can't be at your birthday party, but I'm sure it'll still be fun, although not as fun as it would be if I was there. I can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving. Enjoy all the extra special attention this week!
Posted by: cool aunt stina at October 5, 2005 10:13 AMHappy Birthday Fuller! Love the invite! Even though we can't be there, I still want one for the refrigerator. My fellow graphic designers here at work were pretty impressed too. Good job bro!

Nice collage, well done. Vicki must have a pretty big refrigerator to sport one of these!

Posted by: Mike at October 5, 2005 10:53 AMVicki- I mailed you one b/c I thought Linda said you were now getting mail. I guess not or it is slow? I will save one of the extras for you. Glad to hear from you!
Posted by: mrscrumley at October 5, 2005 10:53 AMWow, that is really cool. But you should have taken one or two more pictures of him. That way his short life would have been really and truly documented! :)
Posted by: Krista at October 5, 2005 11:08 AMHappy first birthday, Fuller!! (Great invites, by the way.)
Posted by: Rebecca at October 5, 2005 11:58 AMThat is a wonderful card! Truly amazing!
Posted by: Debby at October 6, 2005 01:46 AMOf course once I say I don't have an invite, I get one in the mail. Got it yesterday, but I guess I should have asked for it sooner...lol. Same thing happened with my cable modem; I got tired of waiting for it to come back on so I ordered DSL. Yes, my cable internet was back on that very night. Bob asked if I was going to cancel the DSL and I said, No way, my cable modem won't work anymore!
We do get mail but it is a little slow.. just like the traffic and the lines at any store or restaurant right now.
Hope Fuller had a happy day!

Posted by: Danielle at October 8, 2005 02:14 PMI have to applaud this invitation. I did a search for the perfect invitation for my son's 1st birthday. Your site happened to be one I was directed too. Since I have seen your invitation I can't settle for another design. I as well as you just can't take enough photo of his first year. Would you be so kind as to share your creative idea on how you did this.
Thank You
