35, meet D. D, meet 35

Today is Damon's 35th birthday. At this time 35 years ago I wasn't even thought of... my parents were too busy planning their wedding.

Anyway, for 35 years Damon has creatively lived on this earth. His family has lots of fun stories about what D was like when he was little. Like the time he carved Xs into his parent's furniture because "X marked the spot" in whatever game he was playing at the time.

He once told me that he plans on living until he is 102, which means D is still just getting started. I sincerely pray he makes that goal. But for now, today, I'll just kiss him and say, "Happy Birthday!"

I didn't really forget you BD, Damon. I just forgot to mail you a card. I can't believe you are 35, don't worry I whispered that.

Do you remember when we went to Disney World and you cried all night long. It seems like yesterday.

We love you kid. Take care of your beautiful family.
